The deadline for abstract submission is March 31, 2009. Corresponding authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection of their abstract via e-mail by April 30, 2009.

To submit an abstract, please first login to your SMM19 personal account and then go to the Abstract submission page. If you do not have an account yet, you should first create one.

All abstracts must be submitted via the SMM19 website. Abstracts sent via e-mail, fax, or regular mail, will not be processed or acknowledged.

Submit your abstract only once. If you need to resubmit a modified version of a previously submitted abstract, please send your modified abstract as e-mail attachment to the conference desk at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. In the e-mail message, please identify your abstract by using the abstract ID that was included in the acknowledgment of your previous submission, and specify the reason of resubmission (wrong title, wrong author names, etc.).

Abstracts should be one page, title, authors, affiliations, references, figures and tables included.
Abstracts should be prepared by using one of the following downloadable templates: LaTeX, MS-Word, OpenOffice, Pages.

Final abstract file must be in pdf format and must be no bigger than 2 MB. No other file formats will be accepted. If you do not know how to prepare a pdf file of your abstract, you may follow these recommendations.
