SMM 19 supports student participation in the conference through a specific scholarship program. The deadline for scholarship applications is May 31, 2009. You will be notified of the final decision concerning your application by e-mail by June 15, 2009.

To apply for a SMM scholarship, please first login to your SMM19 personal account and then go to the Scholarship application page. If you do not have an account yet, you should first create one.

Scholarships will be awarded by the SMM 19 conference chairs, after evaluation and selection of submitted applications. The scholarship will cover:

• student registration fee of 180 Euros;
• accommodation at EDISU University residence for four nights, arrival on September 6, departure on September 10.

Selection of applications will be based on the following required documentation:

• a statement by the applicant, describing his/her single most important scientific/technical achievement, followed by the applicant curriculum vitae and list of publications;
• a letter of recommendation by the applicant advisor, confirming the applicant student status and describing the current applicant activities.
