SMM 19 delegates can register either on-line via this website or on-site during the conference days.

On-line registration is now closed.

The deadline for advance on-line registration at a reduced fee is July 31, 2009.

On-site registration will be open from September 6 until September 9 at the "Torino Incontra" Conference Center. Proof of student status will be required for on-site student registration. Accepted on-site payment will be by cash (EUR currency only).

Registration fees 

Registered delegates will have access to the following services and events:

• access to all technical sessions and to the exhibition area;
• username and password for wifi connection through personal laptops or on-site internet access points, upon personal request at the conference reception desk;
• a copy of the IEEE Trans. Magn. issue containing the conference papers;
• admission to SMM 19 social events, (welcome reception on September 6, conference dinner on September 7, symphony orchestra concert on September 8).

The student registration fee does not include the conference dinner. 

Accompanying persons will be offered the opportunity to register on-site (50 EUR registration fee). This will entitle them to full participation in all SMM 19 social events.

To register and pay for the registration fee, please first login to your SMM19 personal account and then go to the On-line registration and payment options page. If you do not have an account yet, you should first create one. There, you will be asked to submit on-line your personal data. After that, the different payment options will be offered to you with the necessary information.

Cancellations of registration must be received in writing at the Conference Secretariat. If the cancellation is received within July 31, 2009, payment will be refunded less a 30 EUR service charge for non-students and 15 EUR for students and retirees. After that date, cancellations will be accepted but not refunded.

Substitutions must be made in writing by the original registrant and may be made at any time.
